AC Milan Legend! Franco Baresi #6 AC Milan 1984/85

AC Milan legend! Unique and extremely rare Franco Baresi AC Milan shirt from Serie A 1984/85 season. This shirt was never used in an official Serie A match but it is a rarity and collectors item!

During his time at Milan Baresi played with some of the greatest players of all time. Among these are stars such as Marco van Basten, Paolo Maldini, and Alessando Costacuerta.

The shirt was prepared for the Serie A 1984/85 season with the sponsor “rete 4” which was a television company owned by AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi. But before the 1984/85 season started they changed the club shirt sponsor to “Oscar Mondadori” and shirtmake to ‘Rolly Go’ which remained for the rest of the 1984/85 season.

Whilst the shirt is an extreme rarity it was most likely never used in any official matches but was probably used in pre-season fixtures until the sponsor changed shortly before the 1984/85 Serie A season started.

Franco Baresi has made 719 appearances for AC Milan from 1977 to 1997, which is second only to Paolo Maldini. Those two also have the honour of having their respective numbers retired by AC Milan. He has also played with stars such as

As a youngster Baresi was rejected by Inter, who chose his brother Giuseppe instead. Franco Baresi joined the AC Milan academy and would end up the more successful of the brothers with six Serie A titles, three European Cup/Champions League titles, and many more trophies.

Baresi is a certified AC Milan legend, and now you can own this unique Franco Baresi shirt.
