Matchworn Diego Maradona #10 vs Espanyol La Liga 22.04.1984
WOW! A matchworn and entire FC Barcelona squad signed Diego Armando Maradona #10 FC Barcelona shirt vs Espanyol, played on 22.04.1984. The shirt was worn in first 40 minutes of game vs Espanyol, before Maradona received a straight red card in what was to be his final La Liga match for FC Barcelona! It is simply a must own piece of memorabilia for all serious football shirt collectors. It contains all the original features and is in a top mint condition for an almost 40 year old match worn shirt. It shows clear stains from match, clearly on front in between all squad signatures as well as other places.
This was Maradona’s second season in Europe following his transfer from Boca Juniors. He would go on to appear 58 times in the Barca shirt and scoring 38 goals, before heading to Napoli.
The Argentinian is considered one of the very top players of all time. If Ballon D’or would have been available for non European players before 1995 Diego Maradona would have most likely won it every single year during his active playing career with FC Barcelona and Napoli. Diego Maradona is mostly known for his achievements with Argentina and Napoli and of course his hand of God goal vs. England at World Cup Mexico 1986.
