One of the best left backs Germany has ever produced! This is a rare matchworn Andreas Brehme #3 Inter Milan white away shirt from Serie A 1989/90 season worn by 1990 World Cup final matchwinner! Andreas Brehme played 116 games for Inter Milan between 1988 – 1992 and scored 11 goals.

Brehme’s highlight during his time at Inter was winning Serie A during the 1988/89 season and the UEFA Cup in 1990/91. The Serie A win of 1989 is symbolized on this matchworn Brehme shirt via the Italy emblem and Scudetto star on the chest. The team also included stars such as Lothar Matthäus, Walter Zenga, and Nicola Berti.

During the 1989/90 from which this Andreas Brehme Inter matchworn shirt stems, Inter had to settle for 3rd place in Serie A behind Napoli and Milan.

On a personal note, it was a good season for Brehme. The versatile German left back managed six league goals in 32 games – his best performance aside from his early days at German club Kaiserslautern.

As mentioned, Brehme was also an important figure on the West German and later German national team. Apart from the aforementioned World Cup win, he was also a finalist in the 1986 World Cup and the 1992 Euros. He captained Germany in the Euro 1992 final where they lost to Denmark by 0-2.

Brehme ended his career in 1998 with his second spell at Kaiserslautern as part of the team that won a sensational championship. He later went on to manage Kaiserslautern and Unterhaching.
