Marco van Basten had an amazing 1991/92 season with AC Milan winning the league and scoring 25 Serie A goals! AC Milan went the entire 1991/92 season unbeaten in Serie A winning 22 games, drawing 12 games from a total of 34 Serie A games! Marco van Basten also had a great international year with Holland only beaten by Denmark in 1992 European Championship final.
Interesting fact: The large oval AC Milan logo is the difference between player issued shirts and store versions. It was worn by AC Milan in the second half of 1991/92 season. In the first half of the season they wore an Intercontinental Cup logo on left chest until Red Star Belgrade won Intercontinental Cup 1991 on December 8th 1991 after AC Milan had won consecutive titles in 1989 and 1990.
