Matchworn Kaká #22 AC Milan Champions League 2007/08

Bid and win this stunning Ricardo Kaká #22 AC Milan shirt matchworn vs Arsenal in the Champions League on 04.03.2008 at the San Siro. Kaká played all 90 minutes in a tight game. Arsenal won 2-0 from late goals by Fabregas and Adebayor and subsequently knocked AC Milan out. He was a few months prior to this game voted winner of the Ballon d’Or 2007. Kaká received 444 votes beating Cristiano Ronaldo 277 votes and Lionel Messi 255 votes to the Ballon d’Or title and trophy after guiding AC Milan to Champions League glory in 2006/07 season.

Kaká was the last player to win the Ballon d’Or outside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo until Luca Modric in 2018. He was also only the fourth Brazilian (Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo) and the 6th AC Milan player (Gianni Rivera, Ruud Gullit, Marco van Basten, George Weah and Andriy Shevchenko) to have won the Ballon d’Or!

Kaká joined AC Milan in 2003 from his boyhood club São Paulo at the age of 21. With 10 goals in 30 Serie A games in the 2003/04 season, it’s safe to say that he hit the ground running. In fact, AC Milan would go on to win the Serie A in Kaká’s first season, and the Champions League three years later during the years, when he also won the Ballon d’Or.
